Sorry, a day late (and a dollar short as my Dad would say!)... This was yesterday's ensemble. I got "naughty schoolgirl" from a few... :-) it's all good! Top and bottom both from eBay! Top is a stretch cotton Charlotte Russe ruffle blouse ($7.59) and the bottom is a red & white skirt ($10.49) by Chapter One. Shoes are Outlooks in a tobacco-colored wedge platform, maybe $6 or $8 from Beall's clearance! Again, I love the pleats in the skirt & the ruffles on the shirt. It's my "go-to" look. Easy, breezy!

Ruffles & Pleats
I am a FOOL for ruffles & pleats! Someone said I looked like I was going to a party... Hmmm... My cousin said most importantly with my "Look-of'-the-Day" posts I need to mention what bargains I get! Top is a satiny polyester Liz Claiborne sleeveless blouse, purchased after Christmas sale, maybe $12 at the most...Skirt is can you guess... eBay! from The Limited ($5.89 with shipping included) and these KILLER 5-inch heels are Waleo by Jessica Simpson (a bargain at $49.99). You will learn that I have quite the shoe collection as I have somewhat of a shoe fetish I guess... Since I have an hourglass shape I really truly love the "June Cleaver" look. These pleated A-Line skirts are such a classy look. One day I may learn to accessorize with jewelry, but that may never happen...

Day One
I have been wanting to have my own blog for quite some time now. I have decided it will be about food & fashion, two of my FAVORITE things!
Might do food one day, fashion another day or both in the same day!
So today's look is a white cotton eyelet skirt from the GAP (purchased on eBay) with an orange V-neck Mossimo stretch T-shirt that is actually a little big on me (Yaaay), shoes are Madden Girl Wisperr wedge sandals. The white cotton eyelet skirt has proved to be a tricky look as I don't want to look like a "frontier/pioneer" woman. I had actually wanted to wear this with a sleeveless black "leather-look" peplum top, but hubby said it was "too edgy" for work.
